Hypericum perforatum extract in organic sunflower oil from a family farm in South Moravia. The oil does not contain any synthetic ingredients or preservatives.
Hypericum perforatum extract. St. John’s wort is the “flower of Light that transforms all that is bad into good”.
St. John’s wort oil extract is a famous cosmetic, massage and rehabilitation agent. The extract is made from the flowers in a traditional way. The blooms are gathered manually and are macerated in organic vegetable oil solely by natural sunlight. The product is red and has a pleasant scent. The scent is caused by St. John’s wort essential oil. St. John’s wort contains catechin tannins, flavonol glycosides, rutin, quercetin, red hypericin, resin, organic acids, provitamin A, vitamin C etc. As a cosmetic ingredient it increases skin elasticity. It gives the skin the necessary bioactive substances that increase its resilience.
Instructions for use
Once a local vendor on a beach holiday offered me St. John’s wort oil. He did not warn me that it cannot be used for sunbathing but is good after sunbathing. We can add St. John’s wort in Neutral Bach Milk lotion or in vegetable oils, e.g. almond oil.
It is a great ingredient for massage oils for back massage.
